Get out your stetson and pull on the boots cause it's dancin time on Radio 1 with RTE's own Queen of Country - Sandy Harsch. Every Saturday night Sandy covers the country music horizon with her own blend of sounds, from Dolly Parton to Lyle Lovett. Born and raised in America Sandy moved to Ireland in the 60s and worked as a photojournalist. She contributed to Pat Kenny's excellent albums show, The Outside Track. And after presenting a string of music shows on several radio stations Sandy brought her mix of country to Radio 1 with "Sounds Country" in 1996. She's been a hoopin and a hollerin ever since.
