  • In his new programme, Iain returns to a musical genre with which he is pleasantly familiar - the marvellous world of the singer-songwriter. In that huge canvas, he expects to offer not only portraits but pencil-drawings, cameos and landscape artists! One thing is for sure; all life will be there in a nightly musical journey, which will speak of the peaks and troughs of the encounters which life provides. Expect to hear lots of Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne; be unsurprised by Nanci Griffith and Emmylou Harris. Take on board John Prine, Steve Goodman and Richard Thompson, but ask questions about Laura Nyro and Dory Previn. If you’re not surprised, we’re not happy!!!
