The First Minister and DUP leader Peter Robinson yesterday said that the retention of the PSNI full-time reserve WAS NOT a pre-condition to any policing and justice deal. This morning, a statement from Peter Robinson states the DUP remain of the view that the full-time reserve SHOULD be kept, but their only pre-condition for the devolution of policing and justice is "community confidence" So are the DUP changing policy on the hoof or are they being consistent?
