A native Rochesterian, "Big Daddy" Dave Beck began his radio career at Rochester's first country station, WNYR, in the mid 70's. Dave also logged time as an announcer for several other local radio stations including WVOR, WEZO, WSAY, WHAM, and WHFM before leaving the broadcasting business in the early 80's to work for Bausch & Lomb and later Rochester Gas & Electric. In 1989, Dave returned to radio as an announcer for WBEE. He has been the host of Rochester's only live, local overnight radio show since 1991
