Dan was the youngest air personality on a major market station in New York City at the age of nineteen. Less than a year later, Taylor joined New York's WHN and remained there for nearly seven years. Dan hosted several nationally syndicated Country programs and while in the afternoon drive-time spot, Dan's show was ranked as one of the "drive-time dominators" in America
