Calvary Chapel of Orlando is an affiliate church of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, pastored by Chuck Smith. Chuck Smith founded Calvary Chapel in the late 60's in a time when most traditional churches were turning away the next generation and Our pastor, Gib Allen, has been a pastor with Calvary Chapel for many years. He served in Costa Mesa as Pastor Chuck Smith's assistant for a number of years and then served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Santa Barbara for ten years. He came to Orlando in late 1989 to help pioneer Calvary Chapel of Orlando. He and his wife Linda have two daughters, Sarah and Katie.
