Kruser's broadcasting career began as a producer at a news/talk station (WAVI-AM) and later as an announcer on a 50,000 Watt FM rock station in Dayton (WVUD-FM). In August 1978... He moved to Lexington as an afternoon drive host and music director for WKQQ-FM. In 1983 Kruser assumed the morning drive slot and was named program director for Double Q. After his stint at WKQQ ended in 1996 Kruser became the morning man at WLRO-RM/Arrow 101.5 and started a 5 year stint as feature reporter at the Lexington NBC station, channel 18/WLEX-TV. HMH Broadcasting: At the time the owners of 101.5 moved Kruser back to talk radio by transferring him to their sister station WVLK-AM. You can now catch "Kruser & Krew," a lively mix of news and entertainment, with Kruser's cast and callers. Show begins weekdays from three to six on Lexington News/Talk 590 WV.
