The American Sampler series, in its ninth season, presents traditional music, dance, and storytelling from communities and cultural groups throughout the nation in free concerts for audiences of all ages. Recordings based on the music presented in the series range from songs of Native American women and Hispanic music of New Mexico to traditional Anglo-American ballads.
