Odds aren't just a factor in sports and blackjack. 35 year old pregnant women are told they have a 1 in 400 chance of having a baby with down syndrome. One test has a 90% accuracy rate, another is 100% accurate, but carries a risk of miscarriage. Mike examines the difficulty in calculating exact odds, but more importantly of trying to put those odds in terms the human brain can comprehend.
